OUR HISTORY
Founded in 2023 in Milan, the global capital of luxury, AZ INBUY was born from the vision and passion of Alessandro Zucchelli, an IGI-certified gemologist with over 20 years of expertise in the fine jewellery and gemstone industry.
Driven by a lifelong fascination with gemstones, Zucchelli began his professional journey in 2004. His career led him to South America, where he obtained and directed his own licensed exploration concession in Colombia’s emerald mining region. This hands-on experience provided him with a rare understanding of the entire gemstone lifecycle, from extraction to international commercialization, while cultivating strong international relationships across European and American markets, collaborating with wholesalers, jewelers, and private collectors.
Throughout his career, Alessandro has developed a highly specialised expertise in sourcing high-value gemstones and fine jewellery, establishing himself as a trusted consultant and buyer for leading companies within the industry.
With AZ INBUY, Zucchelli translates his expertise into a refined platform dedicated to curating and acquiring luxury jewellery collections from prestigious maisons such as Pomellato, Chantecler, Buccellati, among other iconic houses.
